Lavis

Lavis is a comune in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 9 kilometres north of Trento. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 9.000 and an area of 12.4 square kilometres.
The municipality of Lavis contains the frazioni Pressano, Sorni and Nave San Felice. Lavis borders the following municipalities: Giovo, San Michele all'Adige, Nave San Rocco, Zambana, Trento and Terlago.
