This tool is used on all single cylinder engines to measure piston pop up to get you to zero deck. Its easy to use and attaches to one of the 4 head bolt locations. You zero the tool on the block gasket surface and move the tool over to the piston where you get the measurement and this is the amount you can trim off the block to achieve zero deck.
