This 0.2 Micron Air Filter can be used as an inline system to eliminate microbes from the air provided to yeast starters and wort aeration before fermentation. The filter can also be used instead of an airlock for a pseudo-open ferment. They can also be used to filter air going back into a cask when dispensing real ale. With two 6mm barbs, it can easily attach to 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm ID tubing and is omnidirectional, eliminating the need for specific air flow direction.
