Now his grandson Antonin is brilliantly refining the work begun by Jose over six decades ago. Seven hectares of vineyards are spread throughout several villages, both in the Cotes d’Epernay and the Valle de la Marne. The base vintage in the ‘Premices’ cuvée is aged for 2 years and is then blended with reserve wines that have aged for 4 or 5 years.
