Please observe the following general guidelines when preparing ads for publication.-- Avoid fine type, especially if the type is reversed (light on dark).-- Avoid dark and low-contrast art and photographs.-- Photo and art resolutions should be 600 dpi. Resolutions as low as of 300 dpi are acceptable but high quality reproduction cannot be guaranteed.-- Background screens should be 15% to 20% of black. Electronic files:-- PDF files preferred. TIFF or JPEG files are acceptable but reproduce at slightly lower quality.-- Fonts: Embedded, OpenType (or Type 1) fonts preferred. TrueType fonts require conversion to TIFF for display. -- Photo and art resolutions should be 600 dpi. Resolutions as low as of 300 dpi are acceptable.-- Color ads must be CMYK. RGB color is not acceptable.
