The upper is constructed from bio-based Dyneema - one of the most durable fibres available - wrapped around a last shaped for sustained effort over technical terrain. Where the original 001 set the template, the 001A refines it for runners who log serious miles on the trail. Bio-based Dyneema upper provides cut and abrasion resistance at a fraction of the weight of conventional materials. Vibram outsole compound delivers multi-surface grip on wet rock, rooted singletrack, and packed dirt. Low-profile construction keeps the foot close to the ground for proprioceptive feedback on technical terrain. Seamless upper geometry reduces hot spots and pressure points during high-mileage days.
