Skimmer bottom is PVC plastic. Suction return guard connection is 2” slip. For slip connections, apply PVC primer to both PVC pipe and socket connections. Then apply PVC solvent ce ment to both pipe and socket connections. Consult solvent cement manufacturer for correct solvent cement for pipe used.
