Item Description 007 Agent Under Fire dropped onto the GameCube during an exciting era for Bond games, building on the franchise's long history of translating the superspy experience into interactive form. You step into the shoes of James Bond himself, navigating a globe-trotting adventure full of gunfights, gadgets, stealth, and over-the-top action sequences straight out of the classic film formula. The campaign blends on-foot shooting sections with adrenaline-pumping rail vehicle segments, giving the experience a satisfying variety that keeps things moving at a proper spy thriller pace. The first-person shooter gameplay feels right at home on the GameCube controller, and the campaign delivers a solid mix of sneaking through enemy compounds, deploying Bond's signature gadget arsenal, and engaging in the kind of explosive set pieces the franchise is famous for. The story is an original one — not tied to a specific film — which gave the developers room to craft something that felt authentically Bond while standing on its own. It's a confident, cinematic action game that understood exactly what fans of the license were hoping for. Where Agent Under Fire really shines in hindsight is its multiplayer mode. The split-screen competitive multiplayer was a genuine draw for GameCube owners at the time, offering a range of modes and character options that made it a legitimate contender for couch sessions with friends. In the era before online gaming dominated the console space, this kind of local multiplayer was pure gold, and it holds up as a nostalgic centerpiece for anyone who spent hours battling friends on a Saturday afternoon. Owning a complete copy of a GameCube Bond title is a satisfying addition to any retro collection. The GameCube era is increasingly beloved among collectors, and CIB copies in reasonable condition are harder to come by as time goes on. Having the manual intact is a particular bonus — those inserts add real charm and context to the experience, especially for anyone who remembers cracking open a new game and reading through it on the car ride home. This is a perfect pick for GameCube collectors hunting down complete-in-box titles, fans of the James Bond franchise, and anyone looking to relive a great era of couch co-op first-person shooters.
