Maintenance: The Electronic Service Vacuum is designed for use with disposable SCS filters. The filters must be replaced on a regular basis. Frequency of filter replacement depends on the type and frequency of use of the Electronic Service Vacuum. If included, use the filter indicator to alert when the filter must be replaced. Power the vacuum OFF, and disconnect it from power. Release the latches, and open the lid. Disconnect the hose, or remove the red filter plug. Grasp the filter on each side by using its circular indentations. Pull the filter straight up. Insert the filter plug back into the filter to prevent any debris from escaping. Dispose the filter in a suitable manner. Remove the filter plug form the new filter, and install it into the vacuum. Store the filter plug in the accessory compartment for future use. Verify that the gasket between the filter and the motor fit tightly.
