A 1990 Gibson Chet Atkins CE has arrived. The Chet Atkins CE is a guitar designed by Chet Atkins. Based on the serial number, this is a 1990 model in a natural finish. It is an ele ctric classical guitar with a spruce top and a solid mahogany body. It features a rosewood fingerboard and rosewood bridge and is designed for nylon strings. The volume and tone controls are located on the upper side of the body. In addition to a scratch under the bridge, there are dents and scratches visible throughout the body. The metal parts show some tarnish due to age. The truss rod has more than 60 degrees of adjustment remaining in the tightening direction. The piezo pickup is integrated into the saddle.
