A used 2018 TB Bass has arrived!! Carrying on the innovative reverse-body design introduced in 1963, this guitar combines an overwhelming presence with a powerful sound. The neck features a 9-ply mahogany/walnut through-neck construction. This delivers excellent sustain and a rich tone, producing the deep bass and focused midrange that are hallmarks of the Thunderbird. The original pickups handle a wide range of styles, from punchy rock sounds to thick, commanding basslines. Its compelling, powerful tone ensures it won’t get lost on stage. Furthermore, it comes standard with a Babicz Full Contact bridge, which efficiently transmits string vibration to the body. It boasts a high level of refinement in both playability and sound. It’s a perfect match for rock, hard rock, punk, alternative, and more. This is a highly recommended instrument that lets you fully enjoy the distinctive look and sound of the Gibson Thunderbird. There are dents on the body end and other areas. There is a buckle scratch on the back. Other minor damage and paint chips typical of a used instrument are scattered throughout the body. There is paint peeling and dents on the back of the neck near the 11th fret. A paint step and roughness are visible at the junction between the fingerboard and the neck from the 1st to the 3rd fret. The strap pins have been replaced with locking pins (Schaller type). Although it shows signs of use, there are no issues with parts affecting playability—such as the truss rod and frets—and it is still in good enough condition for continued use.
