The components are mounted around a PanaVise Standard Base, which features compatibility with additional tool and vise head options, and PanaVise "split-ball" functionality utilizing single-knob controls for head movement through 3 separate planes (tilt, turn and rotate). The PanaVise Work Station for Larger & Heavier Objects The PanaVise Multi-Purpose Work Center is made up of 3 PanaVise components: the Extra-Wide Opening Vise Head, Standard Base, and Parts Tray Base Mount. The vise head opens up to 9" (228.6 mm), and has double-action jaws. This configuration allows for fast opening and closing, as the jaws move simultaneously when the vise is cranked. The self-centering jaws, ensures a sturdy fit, the jaws can be reversed, providing 0" closure when securing small items. The unit ships with reversible and removable neoprene jaw pads. One side of the pads has multiple grooves designed for flat surfaces, while the other has a wide "V" groove to hold round objects. The Standard Base is connected to the vise head and the Parts Tray Base Mount creating the Vise Combination. The Parts Tray Base Mount adds overall stability and functionality. The Parts tray Base Mount contains 6 integrated part wells with rounded edges, and three pre-drilled and tapped 1/4"-20 holes to secure additional accessories.
