E-II HORIZON-III FR See-Through Black Sunburst -2017- The high-end “HORIZON-III FR” model, featuring a through-neck construction, has arrived from ESP’s international brand, “E-II. ” It features a luxurious look, highlighted by a beautiful flamed maple top finished in a See-Thru Black Sunburst. The body back is crafted from alder, delivering a full-bodied midrange and a clear, resonant sound. The neck features a three-piece hard maple through-neck construction, boasting excellent sustain and high playability that allows for stress-free playing even in the higher frets. The ebony fingerboard provides quick attack and a clear tonal image. It is equipped with the popular pickup combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz (neck) and a TB-14 Custom 5 (bridge). It delivers a transparent clean tone and a thick, powerful sound when driven. Additionally, the tone knob’s coil-split function allows you to select a single-coil-like sound, making it suitable for a wide range of genres. The bridge is equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo unit, maintaining stable tuning even during aggressive whammy bar use.
