The Fender Custom Shop / Master Grade Series 1966 Stratocaster has arrived!! Serial No.: CN505396, a 1997 model. The "Master Grade Series" was conceived by the import distributor a t the time and produced from around 1996 to 1999; it is a series that meticulously reproduces vintage specifications down to the finest details. It features the 1966 specifications: an alder body, a rosewood fingerboard with a rounded edge, and a maple neck with a large headstock. The fingerboard radius is 7.25R, and it is equipped with 21 vintage-style frets. The body features a "3-Color Sunburst" finish. This classic color scheme gives the guitar a chic look that captures the essence of that era. The pickups feature gray bobbins and deliver the characteristic, sparkling high-end tones of a Stratocaster, making this a versatile instrument capable of handling everything from clean tones to distorted sounds. All electronics are in their original condition. The logo is the "T" logo, specifically the later-model black version (in original condition). While there are some signs of wear, such as dents and scratches, the truss rod has plenty of adjustment left, ensuring excellent playability. Regarding the certificate of authenticity, while it is labeled as a "1964 Stratocaster," it is actually marked as "Master Grade 66." Since the serial numbers match, the "1964 Stratocaster" label is likely a misprint. * This guitar is definitely a Master Grade model. Please consider this item.
