The golden combination of EMG 40DC pickups and the company’s BT-S system serves as a textbook example of active bass sound, with each frequency range balanced harmoniously and allowing for control that responds intuitively to the player’s touch. It also faithfully reproduces the unique resonance of the coated fingerboard. Due to aging, the finish has developed a cloudy white discoloration.
