A 1972 Fender Vintage Precision Bass has arrived! The classic combination of an alder body and a round-inlaid rosewood fingerboard. The neck is slim yet has just the right amount o f thickness, making it easy to play and delivering a punchy sound. Overall, it shows signs of wear typical for its age, including scratches, paint chipping, weather checking, rust on metal parts, and some discoloration. Since the pickup output was low upon arrival, the windings were rewound to correct this; the pots are original but have been solder-repaired. The fingerrest is not original, and the pickup and bridge fences are missing. There are splinters at the ends of the frets on the fingerboard, so it’s likely that the frets have been refretted.
