This is a Sadowsky active bass, the German-made (Warwick-manufactured) Metroline Series ML21 VJ4 ASH, built in 2022. It features a swamp ash body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard , along with Sadowsky Vintage Style machine heads and a Sadowsky bridge with quick-release mechanism. The pickup is a Sadowsky passive JJ, and it is equipped with volume, balance, and passive tone controls (with a preamp on/off switch) as well as dual-axis treble and bass controls. Weighing approximately 3.65 kg, this lightweight instrument offers impressive weight balance that rivals the NYC series, delivering a stable sound from classic materials—making it a ready-to-play gem. Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition. It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment).
