The now-discontinued Avedis series This appears to be a 2016 model. It achieves a clear yet mild and warm tone inspired by vintage A-series Zildjian cymbals. Designed to function a s both a crash and a ride cymbal, it’s slightly thinner for crash capabilities, while the bow has a well-defined, crisp attack—making it a so-called “crash-ride.” Due to the nature of the finish, fingerprints are quite noticeable, but there are no visible signs of damage, and the sound is excellent. It’s still in good enough condition to be used for a long time to come.
