With a 14x5-inch, 6-ply jasper shell, a silver interior, and an original 8-tension die-cast hoop, this snare delivers a moderately punchy and tight yet soft and mellow sound. making it a quintessential 1960s snare drum that truly embodies the "That's Gretsch!" spirit. The snare head has likely been replaced, but it is a silver sparkle snare head. While there are some scratches and pitting on the parts due to age, there is no noticeable damage.
