THE Jazz Guitar—a model favored by jazz masters—was designed from the outset to be used as an electric guitar. It features a body made of flamed maple laminate with rich grain, a m aple neck, an ebony fingerboard with ivory binding, one original humbucker, volume and tone controls, and an ebony bridge and tailpiece. Jazz guitarist Jim Hall is famous for using this model, and this particular guitar is characterized by its unique finish—even the binding was colored to match his preferences. There are signs of wear (scratches on the headstock top, scuffs and playing marks, minor scratches on the body edges, picking marks, discoloration and tarnish on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling).
