The Ray4 from the S.U.B. series, modeled after the Stingray Bass SR-4. This is the Ray4 from the S.U.B. series by Music Man. It features a powerful humbucker, a 38mm nut (standard for JB-style basses), a 6-screw neck joint, an easy-access truss rod adjuster, and a 2-band EQ. It’s characterized by a powerful sound that lives up to the Stingray’s reputation, making it ideal for slap playing and aggressive pick-based playing. Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition. It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° on both sides and is in good working order.
