This is the first-generation Special Dry Ride from 2003. It is the pioneering model of the Special Dry series within the K Custom line. It has moderate thickness and features an ea rthy, tight sound. It has a dark, dry sound that can be considered a precursor to today’s dry cymbals. As expected for its age, there are scattered traces of fine rust and dirt, but there is no significant warping or damage, and it still sounds great and is fully playable.
