This is the TEJ-95S (18V model) from Fernandes, featuring a Sustainer and a two-point tremolo system. Featuring a TL-shaped body with a Concorde headstock, this is a top-of-the-lin e model in FERNANDES’ long-running TEJ series. It features a basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, VH-4 pickups, and a control layout consisting of one volume knob, a Sustainer ON/OFF switch, a Sustain Selector, a Sustain Volume knob, and a DET-1 tremolo system with a roller nut. This model has seen a sharp rise in price on the used market in recent years; it’s a guitar we’d love to see fans play to their heart’s content. Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, paint chips around the bridge, minor scratches and scuffs, wear marks and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, and discoloration, tarnish, or pitting on metal parts and screws, etc.). The broken zipper pull on the semi-hard case and the area around the Sustainer are not covered by the warranty (function has been verified). The guitar was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, fret leveling, fret edge smoothing, and replacement of rusted screws, etc.). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested up to 60° in both directions and is in good condition (slightly tight).
