Early 1990s Art Star 2 Snare Drum A high-end Tama model from the 1990s, made in Japan An incredibly luxurious model crafted from 9-ply, 6mm bird’s-eye maple. As a high-end Tama mod el from the early 1990s—predating the Star Classic series—it was a model that drew mixed reviews, but it featured thoughtful design elements such as allowing for adjustment of every head from the playing surface. Combined with the snare wires covering the entire drumhead, it offers a sharp and delicate response. * It is currently equipped with a snare wire for the inner surface.
