A guitar that combines a 2006 30th Anniversary body with a maple fingerboard neck. This is a Music Man Stingray 4 with a through-body design. It combines a “30th Anniversary” (limi ted to 800 units worldwide) mahogany body—featuring a rosewood fingerboard on the matching headstock—with a string-through-body configuration and a Stingray-4 neck with a maple fingerboard. There is no serial number on the neck plate, so the neck’s year of manufacture cannot be determined. Boasting a rich, full-bodied sound that’s ideal not only for slap playing but also for the diverse tonal variations offered by its 3-band EQ, this is Music Man’s flagship model—a highly versatile instrument. Signs of use are visible (including dents on the body edges and outer perimeter, paint cracks at the joint, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, discoloration around the neck, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
