This is the History SH-SG (manufactured by Fujigen), a vintage-inspired, modern-style model from HISTORY, the music store’s original brand. It features a 2-piece mahogany body, a 3-piece Heritage Wood hard maple neck (18° headstock angle), a rosewood fingerboard, C.F.S. (Circle Fretting System), and a nickel-covered HISTORY FH-7D pickup, along with GOTOH tuners, CTS pots, and a Switchcraft jack and selector switch. This SG-style model offers excellent playability and stable pitch, and is characterized by its distinctive, crisp tone with a strong presence. The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins (without locking pins), and there are signs of use (dents and scratches on the outer surface, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.). Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, replacement of rusted screws, and removal of string gouges); the frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod is currently loose (no torque applied), with no issues observed with the neck at this time.
