It combines an undersaddle S-Core piezo pickup with a body-sensing transducer that captures the soundboard's vibrations. You can blend these two pickup sources to create your perfect amplified tone - from pure piezo clarity to warm, natural body resonance, or any combination in between. The soundhole-mounted controls preserve the guitar's vintage aesthetics while providing comprehensive tonal control.Parlor Body PerfectionThe newly designed parlor body shape is perfect for players who want a compact, comfortable guitar with focused, articulate tone. Parlor guitars were popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and they're experiencing a renaissance among modern players who appreciate their intimate voice and comfortable size. The PS-220E's parlor body produces tight, articulate tone that's ideal for fingerstyle playing, singer-songwriters, and anyone who finds full-size guitars too bulky.Vintage-Inspired AppointmentsThe PS-220E features beautiful vintage-inspired details: snowflake-shaped pearloid fingerboard inlays, feathered purfling and rosette, decorative backstrip, and your choice of Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard. The 3-Color Vintage Sunburst finish showcases the solid wood construction with classic aesthetic appeal. These premium appointments give the guitar a timeless look that honors acoustic guitar tradition.Perfect For:Whether you're a fingerstyle player seeking focused, articulate tone, a singer-songwriter wanting a comfortable, intimate guitar, a recording artist needing versatile amplified sound in a compact package, or an acoustic enthusiast seeking all-solid wood parlor quality at an accessible price, this PS-220E delivers.
