Save money when you buy a kit Geo-Flo’s chamfer tools are a combination pipe chamfering tool and depth gauge that allow the installer to add a lead-in chamfer (i.e. bevel) to the front of the polyethylene pipe and then set the proper fusion depth on the pipe. The chamfer enables the pipe to be more easily inserted into the fusion faces and fittings during the fusion process. After chamfering, the cold ring tool is locked behind the chamfer/depth gauge to set the fusion depth.Geo-Flo manufactures these chamfer tools on a precision CNC equipment in accordance with ASTM F1056 to be used with IPS pipe sizes from 3/4″ to 2″.
