She was a three-time high school state champion, once in cross country and two times on a 4×800 relay team. She ran in college at the University of South Carolina for two years and decided my love for running was not what it once was. After a few months off, she decided to train for her first marathon and rediscovered her love for the sport. After 11 marathons, she took a break, and over the course of having kids, has enjoyed running as a mental break here and there. Recently she had a little resurgence in finding her competitive side again and is really enjoying the challenge. She is most proud that, as life has evolved, She been able to continue to come back to running at all stages and use it as a place to find peace. Jeff Cunningham A lifelong runner, Jeff found his love for distance running during his high school years as an all-state performer in east Texas. He earned a scholarship to Baylor University where he was a member of the 1994 Southwest Conference Championship team for the Bears. Jeff earned All-Southwest Conference honors in cross country and track as well as NCAA Academic All-America honors. Continuing to run while in law school, Jeff ran personal bests from the 5k to the marathon.In 2001 he began his career in the high school ranks coaching multiple state champions, national qualifiers and NCAA scholarship athletes. Jeff coaches all distances from mile to the marathon including countless Boston Marathon qualifiers and multiple U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon qualifiers.
