These high quality buckles have a slim profile but are much stronger than the generic half inch (10 mm) buckles you may find elsewhere. They can handle being tensioned down tight s o they are great for gear customization. We use them on our backpack's top strap and sternum strap. The male side adjusts, and the female side does not. These buckles have a wide mouth and narrow prongs so they are easier to snap together. Show more
