Polypropylene rope is lightweight, strong and easy to splice. it's ideal for jobs, hobbies and recreational use around water as it floats on the surface. This buoyancy gives it goo d dielectric properties meaning it won't conduct an electric current if it touches a live wire, so it's a great rope for use around utility wire, trimming trees, etc. A slippery surface also makes it useful for pulling cable through conduit and for general tie down use.
