$1 2011 Australia Ram's Head Silver Proof The colours for the shipper are reminiscent of the clothes worn by the shearer in the famous 1890 painting 'Shearing The Rams' by Tom Robe rts. A small raised 'C' mintmark on the reverse indicates that the coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra The coin is housed encapsulated in a hinged-lid case protected by a colourful 'candy-striped' cardboard shipper and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity The issue limit of 12,500 was not reached with the mintage declared at 9,038 proof coins.
