2 AA ATEX Torch for ADR Drivers This ATEX torch is designed for use where portable lighting must not create an ignition risk in potentially explosive atmospheres. It is suitable for ADR vehicle crew requirements, where one torch is required for each vehicle crew member. For vehicles carrying dangerous goods of Class 2 and Class 3, an enclosed load compartment must not be entered by anyone carrying portable lighting equipment unless that equipment is designed so that it cannot ignite flammable vapours or gases which may be present. The torch uses a single LED to provide 65 lumens of light. It has push-button operation for easy switching on and off, with an oil and grease resistant body, a built-in carabineer belt clip for attaching to clothing, and a wrist cord so it can be kept within easy reach.
