This bait is best used on a size 14 or smaller hook and fished weightless using a BFS (Bait Finesse System) setup or SFS (Spin Finesse System). In testing we could easily cast this lure 20ft using our Finesse Braid in 4LB and 6LB on a Kast King Kestrel SFS reel and our "Hickory Twig" UL rod. You can also fish this using a float to get further casting distance or even fish it on a jig or cheb setup.
