Each pack contains 3 filtration pads compatible with the Mini Jet plate filter system. Mini Jet filter pads are available in Coarse (#1), Polishing (#2), and Sterile (#3) grades, allowing winemakers to filter wine in stages depending on the level of clarity required. These pads help remove sediment, haze, and microorganisms during the filtration process and are commonly used when preparing homemade wine for bottling. For best results, wine can be filtered progressively through #1 Coarse, #2 Polishing, and #3 Sterile pads. Many winemakers also use #2 polishing pads alone when filtering already clear wines.
