What is a Polymate? A Polymate connection is high quality alternative to a fusion connection on an HDPE Pipe. Available in 304 Stainless Steel it self taps on to the outer diameter of the pipe to be connected. Once a Polymate connection is made it is durable and has been pressured tested by the manufacturer to handle 400 PSI. Designed to be fully compatible with Iron Pipe sizing. A Polymate Splicer Tee joins two ends of HDPE pipe using a reverse thread design allowing for rapid repairs and connections when fusion is not available and provides a robust male NPT thread for connection to any NPT female connection. Male Tee Thread is National Pipe Thread Standard (NPT) Female thread is the proprietary Polymate cutting thread that self taps on the outside of HDPE Pipe is on both ends, in a reverse thread configuration.
