A fabulous moonstone, ruby and diamond ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Made of platinum, this striking ring has a single, oval shaped cabochon moonstone that rests at the center of the ring. The pale blue stone has a wonderful translucent quality with gorgeous iridescent flashes and some subtle natural inclusions inside. The design of the ring appears to overlap and wrap around the finger in three luxurious rows of stones. Baguette diamonds extend from each side of the moonstone in a graduated row, while rich, red Tapered Baguette rubies form the top and bottom rows of the design, ending with a single diamond stone at each tip. In total, the diamonds weigh approximately 1.25ctw and the rubies weigh approximately .70ctw. This bold and geometric ring is a very fashionable piece that captures the creative spirit of Retro era jewelry! Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 4.5 but could be easily resized. Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the stones are intact. Show more
