A recent MBS1959ST, crafted with great care by Paul Weller, has arrived! A creation by Paul Weller, Senior Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop, has arrived. Since joining Fend er in 2003, Mr. Weller has steadily advanced his career as a builder, rising to the rank of Master Builder through his apprenticeship under Bob Benedetto and his work as a Master Builder apprentice. He has now reached the pinnacle of his craft as a Senior Master Builder and reigns as the Custom Shop’s undisputed flagship builder. We’ve just received this 2021 Masterbuilt 1959 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic, a masterpiece crafted by none other than Mr. Paul Weller himself. The 8-point-mounted green guard, reminiscent of early 1959 ST models, makes a great impression, and the thoughtful touch of aligning the hole positions to match the 8-hole, 1-piece PG is simply irresistible!
