These are just what they look like but a little bit more. All shock brackets are targets just waiting to be hit. These are no different in that way but if you do not have the time or skills to move your shocks higher these are the best solution. Our shock brackets are all 1/4" thick where the stock brackets are only half as thick. The net result is that ours can take a hit, not forever but a whole lot longer than the stock brackets! This set is designed with a 10 degree kicked in angle to position your shocks towards the center of the body made to fit the 3.25" tube diameter of the 8.8 but can be used for any tube diameter from 3"-3.5" with some fine tuning.
