With a capacity of just over 2 gallons, it allows beekeepers to provide enough feed without frequent refilling. The feeder features a transparent top so you can easily monitor syrup levels without opening the hive and disturbing the bees. Bees access the syrup through a small opening on the bottom of the feeder, where they can drink from a limited area instead of the entire reservoir. Limiting access to the syrup helps prevent bees from falling into the feeder and drowning. A removable cap is placed over the feeding access point to further control exposure and improve safety for the bees.
