A Note on the Scent Sulfur has a distinctive natural smell — there's no way around it. The smell does not typically linger on skin after rinsing, especially once you apply moisturizer or your other daily products. A small number of people are more sensitive to the scent — if you're concerned, start by using the bar on a small area to see how the smell sits with you. A Note on Dryness Sulfur is a drying ingredient by nature — that's part of how it works to clear acne blemishes. Most customers find this bar drying but manageable, especially when followed with a good moisturizer. We recommend starting with one application per day and increasing frequency gradually. Work the bar into a lather and gently massage onto affected areas. Leave the lather in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly. Use on affected skin in place of your regular soap. Getting started: Because some users experience dryness when beginning a sulfur acne soap, start with one application per day and gradually increase frequency.
