When replacing a CV, rebooting a joint, or changing any front-end driveline components on an IFS 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX470 it is important to u se the correct size snap ring for the axle flange. V3 of this tool includes 2x M6 holes for pulling the timing crank pulley on Toyota's UZ engine lineup (1UZ-FE 4.0L V8, 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8, 3UZ-FE 4.3L V8 engines). Many crank pulleys are tightly stuck and require a bit of extra force to be removed when replacing the crank seal (90311-43006). The proper gap, measured with a feeler gauge, should measure at < 0.2mm (0.008") between the snap ring and axle flange. V2+ of this tool also incorporates a puller for the crank pulley found on the UZ engine lineup (13521-50022, also 13521-50020, 13521-50021). This puller tool works for the 1UZ, 2UZ, and 3UZ engines.
