Unlike most narrow noses however, this one is blunt, which allows room for both feet to be well planted up front. In a lineup of surfboard models that are heavily inspired by Australian old-mals, the Hariot is the closest we get to the real thing. For this reason, it’s a little harder to ride/less forgiving than some of our other models, but there’s a certain beauty and reward that comes from riding boards with pinched rails, rolled bottoms, and hips, that you just can’t get out of easy-to-ride logs. The Hariot is a tried and true staple for us - a great favourite for myself, Harrison and Saxon, and one of the boards that best represents what we love most about Australian longboards.
