The USS Arizona Memorial was completed in 1961 and dedicated on Memorial Day 1962. Designed by architect Alfred Preis, the design of the Memorial was to have the overall effect of serenity where one could contemplate his own "personal responses...his innermost feelings". This commemorative patch bears the image of the USS Arizona Memorial with the waving stars and stripes of the US flag in the background. Patch reads "USS Arizona" along top and "Pearl Harbor Hawaii" on bottom. Patch measures approximately 2 3/4" across and 3 1/2" tall. Show more
