This book contains a transcript of the church's Vestry Minutes of 1817-1918, which name pew-holders for a number of years as well as all vestrymen. A list of marriages from church records, courthouse records and newspaper notices follows. The final chapter, biographical sketches of almost every person named in the Minutes, is a treasure trove. The obituaries usually tell where and when the decedent was born, the parents' names, the wife's maiden name, where surviving children settled, and the daughters' married names.
