This book contains four years of Personal Property Tax Lists from Shenandoah County, Virginia and present-day Page County, Virginia. The lists that are transcribed in this book are from the years 1782 through 1785. Personal Property Tax Lists are often an under-utilized tool that many genealogical researchers of a multitude of skill levels neglect to review when solving mid-18th and 19th century genealogical problems.
