Fascinating story of the Moravian missionaries who came to America (1730s-1740s) to bring Christianity to the Indians. They founded Bethlehem and Nazareth in Pennsylvania and Salem in North Carolina as bases for their missionary work and established the first Christian communities in Ohio. Yet their missionary efforts took place during the French and Indian War, Pontiac's War, the Revolutionary War, the Indian Wars in Ohio, and the War of 1812.
