There were many Marylanders who migrated to Tennessee "in the early days" by way of Virginia and North Carolina. This book is the fifth in a series covering Maryland family migrati on to other states. The previous works (all by Hank Peden) are Marylanders to Kentucky, 1775-1825, Marylanders to Carolina, More Marylanders to Kentucky, 1778-1828, and More Marylanders to Carolina. This book, like the others, was compiled in an effort to identify as many early Marylanders as possible in order to assist genealogists.
