Rockingham County was formed out of Augusta County in 1778. This book consists of all the church records available for this region prior to the 19th century, beginning in the mid-1 750s. It covers: Rőder’s Church, Peaked Mountain Church, Friedens Church, St. Michaels Union Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, Smith’s Creek and Linville (later Linville and still later Brock’s Gap) Baptist Church.
