Boyle County, Kentucky is the 94th county and was formed in 1842 from Mercer and Lincoln counties. The information for this publication was derived from two sources - the first of these is History of Kentucky by Lewis Collins in 1882 and the second is KENTUCKY: A History of the State by W. H.
